The Story

We are placed on this earth for a purpose and it is to be of help to others in need.

Coming from a family with generations of being in the foster care system, Alicia decided that she wanted to give back in some way or another.  Being partly, raised by her Aunt Bessie, she witnessed her aunt assisting women who were addicted to drugs and homelessness, get their lives back in perspective during and after their challenges.   Alicia's stands by this motto "too whom much is given, much is required", with this being said, our duty is too help our fellow man/ woman...girl and boy.  We are placed on this earth for a purpose and it is to be of service or something.

Snell Family Home For Girls, LLC, will be a home of value, support and love to these young girls, we have an obligation to teach and lead the young to want, be and do better.

About the Ceo

I am Alicia Reed, a native of Philadelphia, mother of four children.  I hold a degree from Harcum College in Legal Studies, but have worked with children directly and indirectly for over 30 years.  I currently work for a Charter School, which educate students from Kindergarten through Twelfth grade.  On occasion, I meet with/talk with young girls who are simply going through what they may call a "tough time".

I come from a family who has had several family members who resided in foster homes, even having her own mother, when she was a young child, placed in the foster care system, along with some of her siblings, when their mother was too sick to properly care for them.

My Aunt had a hand in partly raising me.  I witness first hand, how my Aunt would lend a hand in helping other people.  My Aunt Bessie, would help women who were homeless and addicted to drugs.  She would allow these women to live in her home and assist them with getting treatment for their addiction, accompanying them to meetings to get help with their addictions, assisting them with their finances, and helping them to get their own homes.

I simply want to give back, we are all on this earth for a purpose, and my purpose is to help in anyway possible.  "To whom much is given, much is required".
